The Boy in the Stripped Pajama's #2

I don't really enjoy reading "The Boy in the Stripped Pajama's". I can't get into it. I guess I am stuck in a rut and only enjoy romance novels with sappy endings. I don't see anything wrong with that.

I am waiting for Mrs.Kulyk to pick up "The Lucky One" By Nicholas Sparks. It is the newest one to be made into a movie. I am excited to see how this story unfolds. I hope it isn't too similar to his previous ones. I definitely enjoy his work.

I think I like his novels so much because there is a high chance they could be made into movies. I like watching movies from books I have read it gives me a new outlook on how other people interpret the way Nicholas Sparks writes.

The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas #1

I have just picked up "The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas" by John Boyne. I have heard about this book from my History 20 teacher Miss Braun. She recommened it to me, she felt it was a touching book worth reading. I thought I would give it a shot. I also read a review online on the website "Book Review"

My predictions for this book are; the boy in the stripped pajamas is a Jewish boy that has been captured by the Nazis, also I think the boy who makes friends with him on the other side of the fence, his father is a Nazi.

I think it will take me a while to get into this book because I am used to reading soft sappy love stories. I thought it was about time I tried reading something from another author other than Nicholas Sparks.

The Last Song #4

I have never switched emotions that fast in my entire life. I went from fuming mad to giggling happy in a matter of .4 nanoseconds! The ending of chapter thirty seven made me never want to read another Nicholas Sparks book ever again! I was getting sick of being disappointed at the end of his books, but I read the epilogue and was so extremely happy that I wish I was the character in this book. Even after all the things that Ronnie and Will went through they still made things work. I want to find a love like that in my life.(But I guess what teenage girl doesn't)

The author Nicholas Sparks usually follows the same pattern. The books always seem to end with a sad ending where everything doesn't work out just right. He isn't a big happily ever after fan. But in "The Last Song" he ended on a note that made me so happy I am still smiling as I am doing my homework, that is a great accomplishment for Sparks. I applaud him.

The Last Song #3

Well reading these few chapters of "The Last Song" made me wish I had a guy like Will. He is amazing, sweet, caring and super hot! But in like every Nicholas Sparks book the male character is extremely unrealistic. I wonder where the author is getting his characters because they can't possibly be any man like the characters he creates.

I don't understand why Ronnie is pushing Will away at a time like this. He has been nothing but understanding and caring for her while her father is dying. I would be so happy to have someone like that to help me get throught the rough patches.

I think it will be really rough for Ronnie now that she knows what really happened between her parents and why her dad actually left. It would be hard to think about how one little lie changed her entire life and now she doesn't have time to make things right with her dad.

The Last Song #2

When I saw the preview for the movie "The Last Song" I had the uncontrollable urge to go and see it. I thought about not going though because I thought it would ruin the book for me, but it definately didn't. I enjoy the book even more now because I have the reassurance that I understand the book fully.

It seems to me that there is a major connection between Will and Ronnie. Reading the lines between them you know there is a future with them. They have complete love for one another that can not be distroyed.

I really hate Marcus he is a leach. I don't not like his character and what he is about I really hope that Ronnie doesn't become friends with him. She should avoid him at all costs.

The Last Song #1

"The Last Song" written by Nicholas Sparks. I this will be the third book I have read by this author, I enjoy his work. When I saw that they were going to make "The Last Song" into a book it really made me want to read it. I like reading a book then watching the movie to see how other people interpret the book.

I predect that in this book there will be a romance, a person with some life threatening diease and unexpected ending. That is the pattern that all Nicholas Sparks books follow.

I wonder how the author will bring the tradgety into this novel. From the title I would say someone dies because otherwise what is the reason behind the "Last" song.

I really hope this book lives up to be everything that I want in a book. I want it to make me feel what the characters are feeling. I want it to bring out emotions in me that I wouldn't expect.

At First Sight #5

Well I finished the book "At First Sight" and it made me angry. Just after half way in the book I started getting annoyed by Lexie, she was whiney and selfish. She also kept things from Jeremy that in a true relationship should be shared. I just really didn't like her character which kind of turned me off the book. But I finished it because I didn't have time to start and finish a new book before March 23rd.

I don't understand why Nicholas Sparks ended the book where he did? If I were him I would've continued on more about how Jeremy was going to cope with Lexie dying, and him having to raise his daughter on his own.

The ending kind of threw me, I didn't see it coming. But it wasn't the ending I wanted. I was looking for a happily ever after and instead I got tradgety. With the way it ended it left me thinking about how quickly things can change and you never know what is around the corner, so take each and every moment like it was your last!

At First Sight #4

When I read "At First Sight" and the character Jeremy I wonder about what other guys think about. Do men actually think and wonder what their girlfriends are doing or who they are with. Because that is all that is on Jeremy's mind right now, he keeps wondering what Lexie is doing or who she with and talking about. It actually really bothers me how nosey he is. He never believes her and is always following her around to find little things to start arguements about.

Is Lexie with holding information from Jermemy? I would say she isn't doing it on purpose its just they don't know each well enough yet to know the things he is asking. I think they are rushing into this marriage way to soon. It think the relationship won't last very long. I actually think they won't make it to the wedding. They will get into a big arguement and finally realize that they don't know each well enough to start a life together.

At First Sight #3

I don't understand where the author Nicholas Sparks gets the characters that he writes. Out of all the books by him that I have read the male characters are always these sweet guys who think about things and make an effort to talk to their female counter parts. I guess I need to broden my horizon because I have never met a man like these characters!

The last few pages I read made me think of a female talking, I couldn't make the connection that is was a male having these thoughts about what other people thought of what he was doing with his life, or whether or not his fiance was happy with him. Just the way it was written made me think it was from a female prospective.

I would really like to know if Lexie is telling the truth? I think she is definately hiding something from Jeremy, I think she is fooling around with Rodney behind his back. That the feeling I get when I read the dialog between Jeremy and Lexie.

If I was the author I wouldn't use the mystery feel that he is using. He is a romatic author but he is trying this new thing where he is trying to had some mystery into it by not lettting you know who is sending Jeremy the emails. If I were the author I wouldn't do that, or at least not make it so upfront.

At First Sight #2

When I was reading a few pages describing the town Boone Creek that Jeremy and Lexie were moving to I started thinking about Asquith. It sounded a lot similiar. It had the small town feel like everyone knows everyone and you could always go over and ask for a cup of sugar. I like that feeling, it feels safe.

With Jeremy and Lexie preparing for the baby, they start talking about what they want for their child. They were saying what facial features they wanted the kid to have and what plans they were making for its future. It made me think about what my parents thought about when they found out I was coming into their world. Did they want me to become a doctor or a scientist and cure cancer or were they just happy with me being happy and healthy. It is crazy how little things that come into your head make you think of things that aren't apart of daily thinking.

Lexie lived in a small town her whole life. She was raised in a very old fashion way. You don't have sex with a guy who you aren't married to. Lexie didn't really follow that tradition, but she still didn't want the whole town to know about her bastard child so she didn't tell anyone about it. She wanted to rush to get married so she wouldn't start to show before she was married to Jeremy. I find it funny how times have changed. Sex and marriage aren't as big of a deal anymore which is sad because it should mean A LOT, it is a life choice.

At First Sight #1

At First Sight written by Nicholas Sparks. I started reading it on February 8th 2010. From reading previous books by the same author I kind of expected them to be similar in the way the flow of the book goes. I predict that the book with start out with fierce love and compassion between the two main characters, then slow down in a rocky road full of doubt and questioning between them. Near the end of the book all loose ends will be tied up and they will live happily ever after.

I wonder what the character Jeremy will decide. He has been questioning his decision whether or not to marry Lexie. Will he go with his gut and marry her because that’s what he thinks is right or will be listen to his friend who is telling him he rushed into it way to soon.

I don’t understand the character Jeremy so far he is kind of confusing. He sounds like he is really into Lexie, but the next minute he is questioning everything in his life. I hope things will clear up for him because it must be frustrating for me.
I think that when Jeremy moves to Boone Creek, everything will get messy. Everything might fall apart between Jeremy and Lexie. They will finally realize that they don’t know each other well enough to move in, get married and have a child together.
